Roles and responsibilities
MISSION
The role requires providing efficient support on board of all BOURBON vessels in addition to conducting maintenance of equipment and supporting equipment support activities as needed. The process of repairing electrical equipment should focus on achieving 95% technical availability for the BINL Fleet.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The engineer ensures maintenance plan optimization follows all required specifications
Develop and execute a cost-efficient planned maintenance system which includes stock management responsibilities.
Analysis of repetitive equipment failures and implementation of proactive solutions
Estimate of maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives
The implementation of cost-effective planned maintenance system with integrated stock management functions should form the basis of our organization.
Evaluate necessary equipment updates or replacements then create replacement plans or upgrade programs for scheduled events
The assessment of necessary maintenance equipment along with skill requirements to run efficient equipment maintenance procedures.
The assessment and reporting of safety risks which appear during equipment maintenance operations must be conducted
Provision of necessary technical explanations and direction when requested.
Your role includes delivering technical assistance when needed.
Define Technical Standards & procedures
Your domain should track incident rates to recognize endemic issues within its operations.
